IMPORTANT MEETING TONIGHT

WE HAVE A VERY IMPORTANT MEETING TONIGHT AT 6PM…THURSDAY, JANUARY 27, 2011.  IT WILL BE HELD A THE CHURCH FOR ALL PEOPLE ON THE EAST CORNER OF PARSONS AVENUE AND E. WHITTIER STREET.  WE NEED AT LEAST TWO REPRESENTATIVES FROM EACH SOUTH SIDE NEIGHBORHOOD IN ATTENDANCE.  KROGER, GIANT EAGLE AND THE COLUMBUS POLICE WILL BE IN ATTENDANCE THIS EVENING…IF YOU WANT TO VOICE YOUR CONCERNS AND OPINIONS TONIGHT WOULD BE THE NIGHT TO DO ALL THAT!

PLEASE REMEBER THAT RESPECT OF OTHERS IS A PRIORITY AND WE HAVE A ZERO TOLERANCE FOR IGNORANCE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD.

Saturday, June 19, 2010…We are holding our ANNUAL Yard Sale/Car Wash/Bake Sale starting at 10am

 

Saturday, June 26, 2010…We are holding our 2nd Annual Art and Jazz EXTAVAGANZA which will showcase local Artist and Musicians from right here on the South Side of Columbus and beyond.  We had a great turn out last year with live music and an appearance from Kings Island…Come and see who will be here this year…it is going to be a wonderful event…starting time is 12pm and ends at 4pm…Come and support our local Artists and Musicians.

 

Sunday, July 25, 2010…You already know…OUR ANNUAL GARDEN TOUR!  Come out and see some of the best gardens in Franklin County and across Ohio.  You already now that we always have a theme for our event, so try to GUESS what our theme will be this year…It is going to be so OVER THE RAINBOW that you will need a map to GET HOME…Event time to be announced.

 

All events will be held in the Ganther’s Place Park For All People located at 566 Reinhard Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43206…if you don’t already know where we are PLEASE mapquest us…We would hate for you to miss out on all the fun!

DeVante’ Sherwood

We are VERY PROUD to call DeVante’ Sherwood a resident of Ganther’s Place…He not only excells in sports but academically too.  DeVante’ will graduate in June 2010 with HONORS from South High School.  DeVante’s parents, Stephanie Sherwood (mother) and Preston Rogers (step father) are VERY PROUD to announce that DeVante’ will continue his eduation in the fall.  DeVante’ has maintained a 3.8 or better in High School, plays football, runs track and also maintains a part time job at a local Krogers Grocery Store.  Thanks DeVante’ for being a GREAT ROLE MODEL for the children in Ganther’s Place and the entire City of Columbus, You are on the path to GREATNESS!

Welcome to the New Year

We, here in Ganther’s Place, would like to wish everyone a Happy Year in 2010…We are off to a great start this year and hopefully we can keep up the pace.  We would like to make an announcement to our SSCAN area…we have a new representative to our area on the SSAC, David Martin of Edgewood Civic is now our new rep.  We are pleased to have someone on our side that will take a stand against NEGATIVE actions and comments to our residents.  We hope all the best for Dave in his new term as a South Side Area Commissioner!
